Yanni, considered one of the greatest composers and musicians of our time, a musical phenomenon that has crossed social and racial borders returns to Mexico with a nationwide tour “Yanni: Live In Concert”.
After having just completed his critically acclaimed 50 city tour in the USA and Canada, Yanni returns to Mexico for his first concert tour in over 5 years.
“This is the best show that I have ever toured with and I can’t wait to share it with the great music fans of Mexico”, says Yanni.
Yanni, in partnership with Buena Vista Concerts, mounts the best live show of his career, returning with his world renowned orchestra featuring many familiar faces that have been with him for decades.
In addition to the virtuoso musicians Yanni will introduce 4 young vocal prodigies (Nathan Pacheco, Chloe, Ender Thomas and Leslie Mills) who will give a new life to some of Yanni’s classical compositions with voices that will leave the audience awestruck. And in Mexico City, they will be joined by special guests José José, Lucero and Cristian Castro.
The tour is in support of Yanni’s recent Disney Pearl Series global release of “Yanni Voices” and “Yanni Voces” CDs in which the later reached #1 position on the Mexican Pop Charts and #2 on all Mexican Charts after the highly rated airing of: “Yanni Voices Live: From The Forum at Mundo Imperial in Acapulco, which aired on Televisa in May, 2009.
He is scheduled to perform in Puebla, León, Guadalajara and Mexico City October 11 -20 of this year, sponsored by Freestyle Emotional Marketing.
